365 days ago, an afternoon zephyr delivered me the presence of unconscious love: 
A thieving of my mind and sense of true feeling, 
Projecting against me with a lightening smile, 
Like a mirror that reflects the sun. 
 
365 days ago, we infused together pain, tears, happiness and joy: 
Painting with a new certainty onto an unexplored canvas of hope, 
Creating short twelve months with an illuminating brilliance, 
A refined blend of spirit and calm. 
 
365 day ago, is what happens when destined for unison and warmth: 
The understanding that's etched into kindness on behalf of the hand that 
designs, 
Measured with colours that have encompassed those months. 
 
365 days ago, the faint raindrops that flecked upon my soul: 
Accompanied by shades of gray that hovered above, celebrated their 
disappearance, Removing its ominous ribbons of barely sun streaked clouds. 
 
All because you sat down beside me. 
 
365 days ago, I saw within your being the island of essence: 
Viewing what was to be the first time, 
The extension beyond an afterlife, 
The genuine artist whom has painted my love.
