An abandoned soul, 
left to carry itself along the winds. 
An open casket, 
full of revelation and tears. 
 
How I miss you since you've left me, 
to carry on the remainder of your life. 
To never have me with you, 
to never see you smile. 
 
To feel the wild thumps that beat for you, 
to have you return to me: 
Informing me that it was just a mistake, 
and that we'll get through it. 
 
How it aches to hear our songs, 
to know that you may never be coming back. 
To feel the reminders of what went wrong, 
and sensing the tears that you cry when you're sad. 
I feel it all.... 
Because I stand there with you.
