My wonderful friend and love. 
As I sit here and smile, 
I think of all in which you mean to me. 
Your laughter. Your hugs, and your soul. 
 
The many years in that you've brought me 
much happiness and warmth. 
The ample love in that you hold. 
 
To know that you're one in a million. 
To see that you're so very true. 
Counting all of the years that we've shared, 
and knowing that there will be many more. 
 
Upon the universe lies much difficulty and pain, 
though having you in my world, 
I know that I'm ever so greatly appreciative of what we have, 
and who you are. 
 
You stand for just so much, 
and I believe in who you are. 
 
Thus never alter, 
Not for a minute. 
As I love you, my friend. 
You are the wish upon my star....
