Not so far away - by M. Liewes 
 
And like the moon,you're so close. 
Yet so far within the distance. 
Glowing from up above, 
creating for my path and walking me through the night. 
 
I feel your stare as you reach down from the heavens, 
smiling at me, winking as you whisper my name. 
I feel ever so secure and complete, as I stand here upon my earth. 
 
When you smile, 
know that I smile with you. 
when you hurt, 
know that I feel your pain. 
When you laugh, 
I hear your faint chuckles. 
And when you sleep, 
know that I'm there with you in your dreams. 
 
For I feel you. Dance with you. Smile up at you and kiss your mouth ever so 
sweetly. 
To have you etched within my heart, 
and placed within my soul. 
To rest my emotions within your hands. 
and my love deeply into your pocket.
