Love Many Faces - by M. Liewes 
 
Isn't it funny as to how many masks love can wear? 
The ways in which love's presented to you. 
 
The ways in which you move, breath and think. 
The ways in which you touch, 
and how it alters your perceptions. 
Your speech. How you care. 
 
Everything in that you feel is amplified with such great richness. 
You feel more. See more. Know more and hear more. 
 
The stars glitter from your heaven's above. 
The winds rip into your soul as though it were a tornado; 
and any control in which you'd believed to have had in your former life has 
passed away. 
 
You cry. You Smile. You Laugh. 
You allow for things to get to you so much more easily. 
 
You hurt,though also have the capability to bruise others. 
And within a few mere words your universe ceases to glow. 
Your moon no longer filters upon your river. 
The stars take on a dull gleam, and your tornado has become nothing 
other than a gentle blow. 
The sun becomes distant and pale. 
 
But then you remember: 
This is one of the many masks in which we don. 
This is a part of my life, 
and my love....
